WHY: Because we want to hear from you!

The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation(DRWC) is hosting a Second Public Forum to present concepts on development, open space and transportation for the for the Plan for the Central Delaware, moderated by Marilyn Jordan Taylor, DRWC Board Member, Planning Committee Chair and Dean of the University of Pennsylvania School of Design.  This forum will provide an opportunity for the public to view initial design concepts and participate in interactive stations about each concept.  Although there is ongoing dialog with key stakeholders, this will be the last opportunity for the general public to provide feedback to help shape the plan for the waterfront, as the concepts presented at this meeting will be refined based on public input, feasibility studies and stakeholder participation to create the final Master Plan.  The final public meeting in February 2011 will be the unveiling of the Master Plan for the Central Delaware Waterfront.

Don’t miss this opportunity to have your voice heard. Our planning team has been hard at work crafting these development concepts and this forum is a great way for you to learn about them and share your thoughts.

Also, please spread the word and let your friends and neighbors know about this event. We want people from all over Philadelphia to see the great work that is happening on the waterfront!
